Runs sweetly, did 70 odd km today. Not bad for a car that hasn't been registered for 3 years.

turns out you need wheels nuts to drive

jenna helped out and changed the tyres while i was working on the electrics.

long story short she didnt tighten one of the rims up

it decided to part company with the car about 500metres from our joint in spectacular fashion with about 50 metres of warning

took half the guard, wore out half and inch of the rotor and ground down about half the tow hook

anyway could have been a lot worse no one was hurt and we had it back and running with the nuts 30 minutes later

she wont do that again

the dude in the range rover next to us had a bit of a shock when he was racing our rims down the hill

after we fixed it some old fucker tried to flog the rim when i was picking it up

Was there one of these rallies happening last month? We got passed by 3 cars wearing shitbox rally stickers up the Toowoomba range on 24 APR (slow ass Army convoy)
3 cars, zl fairlane, v8 soarer and an mid 80's merc with lybian flags at the front.

They're al cars that are coming, though that's the first I"ve heard of the soarer.

The Merc is a V8, apparently. Brave! Libyian flags are a nice touch!
