Was set up for Targa, so has roll cage, harness, seats etc which have been removed for moment, and are sitting in garage,

Has competed in a few targa events, we where going to run it in Targa Tas but not sure now

RHD conversion, 2.2L.. Webbers, factory LSD, close ratio gears etc, koni adjustables, race pads rotors etc, minilite wheels, other stuff

As far as I know, the wider body was done from factory, or from one of those factor tuners. Not an RSR even though it has sone similar features

I think...that they only made 911 examples of the 30-anni wide body 964.

So yes it's rare, but you would think that a turbo should be worth more..

I agree a turbo would be more desirable for most punters, but the limited build and what it represented would mean the 30jahre is more valuable from a collectors stand point.
Just dug out my Christophorus magazines, interestingly 1 for the 30th anniversary of the 911 and the other for the 40th, and it mentions the 30Jahre was just a C4 with turbo look, so really the value is in the fact that the turbo look wasn't a commonly seen 964 option, can't recall if it was actually available on other versions, and the build numbering, all cars were numbered 911-xxx with only 911 built.

Yeah the turbo wide body was a very expensive option on any 911 (like A$30k on top of a $100k for the car) from the early 80s up until 1989. After that, you had the 964 and 993 and you could only get turbo-look with the special editions

Porsche also offered the 964 Cabriolet with factory turbo look, it's in my 1993 964 brochure. From what I've been able to find the turbo look option wasn't officially offered on the 964, so technically only the Cabrio TL and 30Jahre are the only 964 turbo look, although knowing Porsche some special customers would have been able to order them. Personally I'd love a 964 targa TL.

It was very common for cabriolets to have the turbo look.

My understanding is the 964 cabrio turbo look was specifically released due to the US market demand, I've only seen a couple of 964 cabrios in the flesh here and none have been wide body.
