Regarding the Shannons q's, i can help.
Cars less than 30 years old and used regularly are more exy as they are a higher risk, even if the value is the same as a classic car. Believe it or not, there are way more rating factors than just age and a value.
If its over 30 years old, and not used much, its reasonably inexpensive. You also retain salvage rights in the event of a total loss.
Club Rego is a separate category and is cheaper again, but you must abide by your states club rego rules to make sure you have cover in place, i have seen claims declined for people who use the car as they see fit rather than on club runs etc.
All values are agreed Stix, not market.
N that.

Yep. Told me he was looking at buying the Eggenberger/Texaco RS500 but they wanted 500K for it!Originally posted by Chipper View PostLarry?
Also said that the prices of significant Porsches are out of control in Europe at the moment. The one he really would like to buy is 1 million Euro

It's pretty easy to determine when it's a second car and a classic. It really is based on regularity and style of use than anything else.Originally posted by Stix Zadinia View Postthanks Chipper! how do they determine "not used much" - based on if it's a second car? or is their a specific question they ask?
TCR,
Nice, good to see him getting some variety going in his collection !! :D

Yeah, as much as I like his current collection, I'm glad to see him getting into the Group A stuff as well.Originally posted by Chipper View PostTCR,

sigh..Originally posted by Stix Zadinia View Postyeah I've always wanted one too, it's on my to do list.
It looked pretty good, i'd assume it's real. But I looked at one on RM Auctions and its estimate was 1.8-2.2 million USD for a genuine one!
