More of a Porsche question than porn... I've been keeping a bit of an eye on 944's and 924's for sale and I've noticed that often a clean looking car will come up but they have fucking horrible interior colours like mixtures of brown and cream, I think I've seen a bad plum etc

I was wondering if originality of these glhorrible colours would be better for resale than say dying all the vinyl, cloth and carpet black. It seems like you can get much better dyes for vinyl now that are more flexible, won't peel etc so it should be possible to get it looking ok as long as you washed every part thoroughly before doing it

I've a feeling that if anything a better looking interior would add a little to the value or at least make it easier to sell since these are the super cheap, not hugely collectible Porsches?

Some interiors are reflective of the times and where those models were positioned in the Porsche lineup of the day. ie cheaper cars got cheaper interiors of course. You can buy new replacement interiors for not too much money or pick up a decent set of 2nd hand stuff if you look around. Not sure on the dyeing thing. 924 has limited love. 944 is a fair bit better. Turbo's can be quite awesome and as they don't get much love from the P brigade, are pretty rare. The later S2 model was a 3Ltr n/a twin cam and not a bad thing.

Not a lot of love for the Panamera either but I have to say they're growing on me. Having been in one on the track, they do perform very well and the V8 thing sounds like Devilsporn!
A 2 door 928 re-incarnation would be shit-hot too.

Wasn't really sure where to put this..... but my nopics did a Porsche cake on the weekend.

I thought it came out pretty sweet. All edible. the wheels are 2 piece with the callipers and discs behind it.
