You could find someone who would do a RWC, no worries.

I'm sure I could but when I get pulled over on Mt Glorious, I don't want them to automatically send me to the pits for a full inspection. Or have no insurance even though it's much safer.

How is a cage safer with no helmet? I am sure I have read that in almost all road crashes a front cage section would be detrimental for head trauma. Cages + fuckig tight harness + helmet sure.

They come stock with a harness. If I was driving hard enough that I'm happy I have a cage, my harness would be tight yes.

i went for plenty of floggings in my exige with a full cage and no helmet, was always in the back of my mind as the head definitely would get banged up in the event of an accident. i used to wear the harness as it made me feel better.

dirtyrex: that car being a clubsport you can just remove the front half for the street.

If you can afford it. Buy it and own what would probably be one of the best road cars you can buy without having to pay $300k ish or more for a new one.
                    Just needs nicer rims.

I believe the padding is designed to protect you whilst wearing a helmet. not going to help much if not.

Gee Steve, these things must be going up in price? A friend sold his 2010 3.8L GT3 with 4Kkms last year for not that much more. Jackie's Dad traded his 996.1 cab last week at Porsche GC and got way more than I thought. They wanted it on the spot though, his new car won't be here till June.

I'm still arguing with myself about it. Not just mentally, I mean swearing and physical threats.
