Young guy that lived in Melb CBD had one. No idea if he's still in the CBD but he had a hot as fuck woman in the passenger seat. Clearly life was good.

      It's light blue metallic.
My guess is it's a converted targa and about 150hp 2.7

Wasn't the 993 RS built in even smaller numbers?
Also, anyone know what the 996 RS was retail here?

996RS also is considered the most hardcore of the modern GT3s, Afaik. The 997 was a softer car

I think the SC RS is the rarest, considering there's only 20 of them

Not sure about the 993 RS but I was referring to GT3 RS when I said "RS cars" so perhaps a bit misleading on my part. As babs also said though 996 RS is fairly hard core compared to the others with full cage etc etc...seems to help their popularity. One sold about 2 years ago for around 180k. Big shift in short period of time.

I hope somebody didn't rip him off when he bought it? If he doesn't read

Clutch monkey he was under the impression the car was 100% original, unmodified, he is long retired but certainly knows his way around a car. But in acquiring a Porsche he seems to have stepped beyond his level of car knowledge.

There is a chance that a Porsche dealer did the roof conversion, there's a factory 'targa to cabrio' instruction manual (admitedly it's for a SC, but it'd work on an earlier car too)

Best case scenario is that it's Aussie delivered, matching numbers. He could return it back to a Targa, take the tail off, and put some Fuchs on it. FWIW it will look better..

Have to laugh at this - RWB "race car" - 12 hour enduro, full interior trim, no cage, stock engine...
                                http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/08/...dlers-12-hour/

                                Naturally, it caught fire, twice.
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."
