I did a supercar drive day this week at Brands Hatch and coughed up a little extra ££ to do one of my sessions with a "premium car", specifically a 2018 GT3 RS on cup 2 rubber. I 120% get the hype now.

You do need to drive the weissach Porsche’s to understand the hype. Contrary to internet opinion they really aren’t paying off all the motor journalists in the world, they are just really special cars built off a pretty amazing base to begin with. How’s the overs market in the uk atm?

Yep. Still a great sequence of corners, but the GP is something else. Still my fave track by some margin but noise is becoming such a problem there now, I think it's public track days are numbered.

The GT market here is still overs, but it's flagging. Certainly the new GT4 is suffering, there is a lot for sale and they aren't shifting for anything much over list. The GT3 market is still doing ok, but they certainly aren't getting the overs they used to. You can get a Gen1 991 now for high 80's, so they market is definitely softening.

i stop looking at prices over here a while back as we are heading home within the next 6 months. what i should of done is bought, owned for 12 months and shipped home a GT4.

Good to see this thread get a bump. Awesome to be able to pay $$ to get a track drive of a GT3RS Fly510. Would definitely be one of the cars I would put in the shed with a lottery win. Bucket list for me would be to have a Porsche GT car and spend a year track whoring and mountain passing in Europe. Would be the right tool for the job.
