          nice buy marcus..!

          i've noticed there are some cheap first gen GT forresters around.. are there anything wrong with these ones??

              the old GT's have less power than an RS Turbo lib (147kw), less torque, and weigh more.
              change the turbo and tune should get it in to WRX power (of that era) but still weigh more..

                          how would one of these go for some simply dirt road and dirt tracks with a bit of snow go???

                          and towing ??? any chop or am i barking up the wrong treee?

                            Great on rough roads, but they're fairly underpowered for their size/weight IMO, so you would struggle with big loads and hills. Comfortable enough for adults in the back and you can get a decent amount of gear in the boot section.

                              dont think it would be huge loads..... mainly just bunnings spec bulding supplies to finish the house in tas.

                              just not sure i NEED a hilux/navara etc

                                Underpowered for size/weight? They run 14's standard, how much do you need to tow a trailer?
