How easy would it be to fit a turbocharged one of these into my RX7?

Oh really? I thought the XR8's were getting a detuned version. Currently on the Ford website there are no new XR8's noted - I thought this was because they're waiting to announce the release of the Coyote/Miami engine

Pretty sure I read somewhere recently (now there's a reliable source for you...) that Ford only made up its mind at the last minute to continue the XR8, so they have a little bit of work to do now to bring one to market with the Coyote. The talk was something being on sale next year. It wasn't clear at that point whether this would be a N/A version or an even more detuned version of the blown engine.

Given the pricetag vs performance/modability equation on the GS I don't know why they'd bother with another XR8, but there you go.

Isn't the 4.0 finishing up next year sometime, replaced with US 3.6 V6 or something? So likely will be no XR6T anymore assumidly?

Nah, the 4.0 lives on for a while yet, it's just copped an upgrade to Euro 4 spec to allow it to live.
