My video camera stopped working when we got to the track...hopefully someone captured it.

If not it don't matter it just looks like a Falcon driving down the highway

It's more that most Aussie wouldn't bother as if you want a modified fast falcon/commodore you'd buy an XR6T Where it'll make 460+rwhp with minor modes. Saves having to worry about reinventing the wheel, especially with the pipe cleaner rods they run.

Coyote thing looks like that might change though. The numbers are certainly looking very very good.

It sure didn't sound like it though (have I mentioned how much I love the exhaust note?)

Fuck sakes the one day I leave pf alone and this thread appears. I've been following the ford forums one so I'm up to date. Inontwelve I guess. Win from ford.

This is the car I'd use to run in the Nurburgring 24 Hour. It'd give the Porsche's a damn good run I reckon.

I think you might be missing the point a little. I have no doubt that the Ford modular is a good unit, but the main thing here is that the LS motor is really only $5k or so from running high 11's in a full weight grocery getter. That's why they are so popular. For relatively mild mods in a street car that can not be beaten. I'd rather only have to replace one cam than four.

As you full well know, it's a very different kettle of fish when you're talking a dedicated drag car where block strength and head flow are a greater priority than bang for buck.

                          Haha that's tops.

I think the 'won't make that on my dyno' is a little bit out of context and makes Dale sound like a bit more of a bitch than he really is though...

Yea but would the regs allow you to remove seats, interior and half the redundant shit under the dash to assist.

Regardless, its a moot point, this car is a ballsy Grand Tourer.

Fuck how good would it be blasting along the Nullarbor Hwy at >180km/h, air con set to max, getting blown by nopics.

Paulie are you buying one of the crate coyotes available through FRPP or just going to buy a GT/GS?
