I have no issues with someone coming to my work or bringing a mechanic along, but driving the car somewhere to get checked out? Maybe if I was desperate to sell and had it on the market for months I might, although all of my cars have been shitbox's so maybe thats the reason, except for a Astra I sold, which they organised a vehicle check at my home which was no problems.

I told them its a old car and there will be faults and there were, just normal minor shit.

I've researched them, not much seems to go wrong with them. It could well be a cut and shut repairable write off though, how do I know this without looking right over it? Can't tell AFAIK just by driving around the block. Maybe you can.

The dealer one on ebay I mentioned in a previous post - I was just reading his feedback and he has sold at least one car that was fixed up repairable write off and didn't bother to enlighten the buyer, so I might have to scrub that one from the list too.

The car has been recorded as a write-off, but the dealer never mentioned it. Buyer:

See that box at the bottom of the carsales ad that says 'see seller's details'?

Fill it in. They'll call you (in about five minutes, in my experience).

        It's not hard.
