Is what I use for swapping wheels over to the muddies etc. Don't know if it'd be much good for crank bolts etc.

Combined it with their http://www.milwaukeetools.com.au/pow...2/show/m12ir-0 in a kit to get the charger/battery.

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago, handy, not as big or grunty as the large one, but awesome for day to day stuff

Yep, I bought them both a few weeks ago. Little one is awesome for everything, but it's weak as piss as soon as you put an extension on it....
Big one I haven't had to use much but it's grunty like a 3/4 air gun

We have started using these for our M16 M20 and M24 stainless bolts and they are headbangers. Can easily snap n M16 if you're not careful. Great battery life. 7/5 would bang again.

                        Thinking about getting this

                        https://www.tradetools.com/product-r...d-id-cag125xpd

                        and this

                        https://sydneytools.com.au/milwaukee...tent-skin-only

That impact should do my wheel nuts on the car and drive shafts etc?

Alternatively what is wrong with this?

As mentioned earlier, I have striped down my engine (351W) with this. It did flywheel bolts, crank bolt, engine mounts, etc. Head bolts it struggled with so I just used a breaker bar instead, the rest with the impact. It has also done the pinion bolt in my 9 inch without an issue. Wheels and suspension bits aren't a problem.

Two things to note. It does prefer the 5A or bigger battery. Also the pin that hold the socket in place stuffed up on the first day. I took it back to the tool shop and the Milwaukee rep swapped the skin out on the spot and gave me back my impact socket. I also highly recommend you buy it with a case rather than the duffle bags. Someone above mentions issues with a extension but I've not had an issue using it with impact extensions or sockets.

                            Thanks for the feedback.

I just found a kit which has the 900nm impact wrench, grinder impact driver and hammer drill for $1199.

So I might go that way instead.

The gold standard is undoing a JZ harmonic balancer bolt, which cordless can do that?

Thing with battery powered impacts is the powerful ones are massive. I've got 4 battery powered impacts I never touch the larger one anymore.

I got a ingersoll rand 2235qtimax a while back. It's air powered I thought noise was going to be an issue but surprisingly not as you spend less time impacting so I find it more peaceful. Also around 2000nm in a small package. Got a 2235 hammerhead as well for the tight areas!
