Im reasonably sure they are built in the same factory as the weldsmart/unitig/yumcha etc

i wonder why noone does a mig/tig/plasma 3 in 1 job? They always seem to have mig OR plasma

what sort of settings are you using on your rossi bugle?

I have one and have trouble finding a sweet spot...it tends to start of all right and then the heat just builds and builds until I'm pretty much off the pedal and it still wants to melt a hole in my aluminium!

          What am i doing wrong?

Miller Dialarc HF UY50, AC/DC up to 310A, watercooled torch, foot control. The thing is a beast, but it gets used every day, and apart from a few issues with a dodgy contact in the foot switch, it's been brilliant.

Just a beginner myself so i'm not sure how helpful I can be. I'm pretty sure the adjustment knob on the pedal is the main one for setting current did you wind that right back? From reading the manual the other current settings are for pulsed mode.
For aluminium I set it to non pulsed, no up-slope or down-slope, and have been playing with the pedal knob and the clean area width setting. I had the clean area at around 50% welding some 1mm alloy and was able to control the heat well enough with the pedal set to around 3.

Yea you are correct, with ally u might need all the way from 100 amps down to 20 to weld some 3mm sheet as it heats up, steel is much less of a variation.

Thanks for that and I'm only a beginner as well.

I'm welding 3mm thick piping and its not as easy as you'd think especially when you get close to edges of the piece your welding. Going by your settings the only thing i haven't done that you have is pule turned off. Off course I have the amperage higher due to thickness of my ally.

What do you have the force and peak current knobs set to?

From what i've read aluminium is supposed to be welded non pulsed?

The force setting only works in stick mode doesn't it? I had a play with the peak current while watching the amp meter and it seems to give better control of lower amperage on the pedal with the peak current turned down. I can't remember what I had it set at when I was trying out the 1mm sheet.

You can weld ally with pulse no problem, that is how they get a really defined stack look like the Americans like.
