A XR6T fits in pretty much perfect in a w108. do this. i modified the standard merc mounts without any drammas.
on the 280, judging by the car, the dash is rooted? if not i would be interested. even if it's a little cracked, i wouldn't mind it as i can use it to mock up a guage set onto.
