    do holden still do them?

its not about getting them from holden (unles they still have some in stock from 14 yrs ago), its more to do with cheaper materials used in the manufacturing process and more lenient testing now days.
same reason a tv used to last 20 yrs and now they only last about 5.

shits me how every cunt on this planet is money hungry and will stop at notning to get more

yup, its a shitful thing with manufacturing these days.

I just bought one from the local holden crooks, i figure itll last long enough and it gives me someone to yell at if it fails.

          how much $?

there was somethign mentioned on another forum about a hose that perishes in the fuel tank, you should change it while the pump is out i guess
i spend the last 25 mins searching but couldnt find the info.

haha you are shit cunts. i bought a VR fuel pump last week for $60 will be the 3rd one i've bought in the last 6 months....

anyway, that fuel hose is on the return line, sends the fuel from the return hose over to where the pump picks fuel up from, rather than just letting it get spat into the tank. i highly suggest you give no fuck for it and let the fuel go where it wants, you wont have any issues, and its a bit of cunt to get on. even if its in good nick, i still wouldnt bother.

got the old gear out, that stupid hose is a bitch because it seems theres enough length to tease you as you try and withdraw the assembly, but not enough to make removal of the hose easy.

Whats with the "fittings" that attach the rubber to the steel line? Is there a fancy way of getting them off?

nah, its got a plastic clip and o rings etc.

the return line hard tube to hose has one, and it looks like there is one on the hard line to pump as well.

how the fuck do i get it off without breaking it?

is breaking it and replacing it with some generic clamp an option?
