If its like a falcon one where there is a steel tube at the end and plastic thingo on the end of the tube.

You push the hose further onto the connection and push the plastic thingo into the tube to undo it.

      cheers for the assistance wild.

Sounds like the one Dan, the fitting was on the return line to internal "swirl pot", i "fixed" it with a hose clamp after getting annoyed trying to get the fucker off lol.

the pump outlet has some strange "rubber" coupling to attach to hard line, slide up, insert pump, slide back down again.

pump assembly is back in and done (i got bored) so with any amount of luck the thing wont leak and will work as designed.

      We'll see tomorrow...

My commo has done 300,000 , and the CAS decided to die.

3 years previous , the coil pack baseplate thingy heated up and cracked , i now carry a spare under the seat.

CAS cost me $50 from local auto shop.

Fuel pump is getting a bit noisy , so im guessing its next to go.

I think these are the 3 main commo problems electrically.

fuel filter is also blocked to fuck so no engine awesomes today, i reckon the blocked filter has worked the pump too hard and thats the reason for its demise.

I had to change the fuel filter twice in the the wagon, the first new one clogged up with crap in no time.
