do you mean the rubber between the flare and 1/4 panel?

when i did a set for my hilux toy i went to the mitre 10 up the road and bought the rubber off a roll (3mm thick,i *think* 50mm wide flat rubber),cut V`s in it as required to fit the shape, drill the mounting bolt holes in the right spots, used silicone to stick one side of the rubber onto the flare, dry for 5 and bolt it up, worked a treat and cost 3/5ths of SFA,much easier than it sounds too

had them off to fit some 2inch rubber extensions to the outside of the flares, stops a bit more of the mud flicking up the doors

if thats not what your trying to do,ignore me!

if your more than half talented making your own is easy, just takes a little time, quality of the job is reliant on the person doing it, mine turned out perfect, would never know they`re not genuine.dodgy would be using black sikaflex, which i`ve seen done

if the V is cut the right way the visible side stays untouched

Finally got rubber flare seals from this mob here: http://www.fitchtherubberman.com.au/

Tons better than any of the OEM ones, and reasonably priced too.
