Yeah, but the Impreza doesn't handle, and gerlytrux are the absolute opposite of automotive enjoyment.Originally posted by dave_vic_ozz View PostBut here is the rub. I can probably buy a Hyundai Accent for less than the Forester, and it'd be less unfun to be stuck in.Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

Here's another rub, the actual ORC of a Forester X is $34900 with no discount. Just because Subaru needs to slash $6K off the price to sell the old clunkers means nothing with regards the price of a FT86.Originally posted by dave_vic_ozz View PostS

AWD and 2.5 litre for $28,990
On a side note:
Hyundai have just released the price of the Turbo Veloster in the USA. About USD2500 (10%) less then the Scion FRS.
It will be interesting to see how they price it here after Toyota's $29,990 FT86 bombshell.

Well I could not see one as it will really be there on the 18th.
So how much I ask?
Advertised price is $29,990 + on roads.
The real price is $34,990
So not a good way to sell a car with at best false hopes or could it be a deliberately misleading advertisement?
Now I spoke to some good people. 70% of pre sales are white. Orange is least liked. If it is Falcon orange I am not a fan as it looks dirty in just off blisteringly bright sun.
I was keen to buy one then and there. I could pay cash. But there are no cars to physically see. Advertisement gives you the impression there is.

RWD and 2.0 litre for $34,990

Hard to justify the $6k difference.
