Since when have they raised the price of anything immediately after launch? $aud is a fair way from highs against the yen anyhow right now.

Thanks for the pics mtom was looking for comparative interior shots.

Id go for a black GTS with different charcoal coloured rims myself.

I think if this thread can hit 100 pages I could be swayed into buying

The GTS interior does look nice in those pics, not enough to convince me to spend an extra 6k though.

Mark Mash, black car is a no no for reasons mentioned by others. It pretty much will never look better or the same as the day you drove it out of the show room. I also think it masks the lines of the car and the other exterior features/highlights.

Also AFAIK GTS has different headlights and rear bar to the GT and GTS also gets the foglights. I would say there's at least 8-10kg extra weight in the 17 inch wheels, the rest is lots of small stuff that adds up.
GTS a much nicer place to be for sure - unless the car was bought for a weekend/track car only - I'd go GTS everyday of the week. Nice to have the better gauge cluster too - I've gotten used to central digital speed readouts now

GTS runs DRL's though too - so many of these now look so damn cheezy - VW, HSV and Hyundai especially

couple of pages back there is a post with pics of each car in each colour

Was looking at a Dark metallic blue one at work yesterday after seeing the pics of that one on here.
With the stock wheels i think white looks better its quite a dark blue.
Although i imagine 99.9% of people will change the wheels.

Agree that the GTS interior is nicer, but the GT pic seems to be under brighter lighting which makes it look cheaper.

yeah theres a little bit of photoshop at play there, see how they both have the same steering wheel but the stiching on the GTS is far richer red than the GT

those 2 photos were made to make the gts look much nicer, that being said i would still go the gts because i love my gadgets and its got the digital speedo and climate control..

Love how the GTS interior has an ode to the Golf GTi stitching, GTR swithces under the climate control, GTR air vents and so forth.

I reckon the GT interior is pretty good really.
