It's more the lower revs street stuff that I am concerned about power. If it needs to be revved and rowing the gearbox to keep up with traffic, that will become old real fast.

These people don't exist yet and I don't want to be one of them at retail prices.

Agree with you there. It won't take long as there will be plenty of development going on all over the world. Patience is a virtue and all that.

I very much doubt there'd be anywhere near as much press enthusiasm if they're like that ... have you tried, for example, a Clio RS? They're extremely flexible, they feel nowhere near sluggish down low; that's the sort of thing expected of a modern n/a engine in a car like this.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

I woulda thought that Endless just has to change part#s and rebox a few things to create their 86 catalog

I don't know, in one of the video reviews I watched....the one video on line where the FRS is not being drifted around a track or thrashed along a mountain pass the reviewer did make mention of the fact you can get caught out in the wrong gear quite badly sometimes in day to day situations.

Be thankful Australia took the shortest final gear available. European models get the tallest gear ratio so the reviews there needs to have that in mind.

Not to be sneezed at at all, specially when a stock SS Commodore 6.0L V8 is mid 14's

Im loving these and nicely priced . I really love the black Greddy one but i think the idea of modifying them is kinda at odds of what they are ? A cool entertaining daily for those without the need for seats or 2 car families ,hits the mark .

Hopefully the process will catch on with the other car makers.
This. They had a clear goal in mind, told the accountants and marketing focus groups to sit in the corner and delivered.
