I'm not overly worried about failure. I think if you smash a wheel into a curb at warp speed, it is going to be inclined to fail. A lot of that shit online about spontaneous failure is shit. I actually have the 527s that im using on my heavy boat track supra.
ive done an actual jump on the road with mine on the evo with stretched tyres and didnt have a problem...not to mention hitting ripple strips at the track
...This in white would be rad. Methinks CR-KAI will be the RS-Watanabe of this generation '86'.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe, and from this side only! The flight of a half-man, half-bird. Dinosaurs nuzzling their young in pastures where strip-malls should be. Cookies on dowels. All those moments lost in time; gone like eggs off a hooker's stomach. Time to die.

RPF01s are great, they're stupid light for a cast wheel which is what they're all about, if they look good on the car its a bonus, the ones in this thread do not.
Are there any limits on wheel width increases on RWD cars?
GT has 6.5 inch width rims
GTS has 7.0 inch width rims
1" on the maximum offered by the manufacturer in NSW ... so 8" max in NSW for either GT or GTS, unless Toyota offers wider rims as warrantied options of course (then you can go 1" over those optional wheels).
From everything I'm reading, though, it sounds like extra grip could be fucking up the intent of these cars though? Onroad I guess, if you're racing competitively it's different.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

I have heard from a few people today that the interior in the GT is far worse than they originally expected. cheap, nasty and not belonging in a sports car.
those CR Kais look right at home on that silver one above. I think its an easy way for one of the best looks, i'm going to try and resist though because as someone said, every cunt will have CR Kais on his 86 before long
