My dealer had one arrive today, not their demo though. It was a red GT manual that I had a good look over, I love the shape the the 16s aren't too bad, they'd look good with some 25mm spacers so they're not so tucked. The interior was fine for a 30k car, it's simple and boring, about on par with my Mum's new Corolla at the same money. Still shitloads better than my new Hilux with vinyl bench seat, wind up windows and no central locking. I'm not fussy though, currently between nopics and my business we've got an s14 200sx, Mirage, Transporter, few Hiluxes, Civic and a 6yo Triton so I wouldn't even know what I'm missing out on, the 86 GT is much more luxurious than anything else I have.

I watched a red one on brisbane northside today with dealer plates fang it down a road, and unmarked police car turn out from 2 cars behind me and follow it down towards brendale from carseldine. My brother also had a look at one/sit in one today. Hasn't had a test drive yet because the one he saw wasn't a demo. He should get a drive of a demo in a few days though he reckons. His manual, red GT is due in October.Comment
