The dealer will just have to fill out a CTRA form reporting a cash transaction over 10k, there's basically no circumstances where an individual report for the cash purchase of a car for 20k would trigger an investigation

Went down to the dealer I ordered mine through today and went for a drive in their demo, was a silver gt manual.

Was happy with the drive, seating position is fantastic and the ride is great, will be a shame of the coilovers ruin it's rise so I'll have to be careful there. Really feels like you're sitting in the thing as opposed to a lot of Japanese sports cars. I didn't get to chuck it round corners due to the drone sitting beside me but even in general traffic maneuvers you can feel its pretty sharp and direct.

The low down torque (below 3K) was surprisingly good, mid range was very poor as expected. I took it to the redline a few times and it still felt pretty tight, had 250kms on the clock. Needless to say I will be chasing some sort of power increase but Toyota got the chassis right which is the harder part to fix.

Couldnt give a fuck. It's money and do with it as I please. The ALM trigger is quite a bit lower than 20k (I worked the theses cunts for over 12 years so I know all about it)

Just like taking more than 10k in cash when on holidays and customs. I just rock up put down 15k or 20k on form and customs will just waive you. It's only when you get sneaky or lazy and you get caught they will ream you. Most times you just get off with a warning.

drove the gt auto (only one available in town)

was uninspired by its straight line speed,

turned in nice, but i wont be buying one unless the manual is a much better driving experience

that said value for money still seems to be good!!!
