Stop your complaining UZZ31 :p That boot looks fine to me, certainly a full size spare is a better choice than the gay alternative. And the upper control arm size? Camera perspective. Aluminium or steel? Who cares although the lower one which is more likely to get hit is better off being steel for that reason.

I prefer this way. I don't think the supermarket shopping will mind that raised hump, and I much prefer a proper spare wheel (and a proper place to put the old dead wheel if you have a flat).Originally posted by smellytofu View PostBut which looked better? Yes, which is true but there's one rule for Europe, one for Japan, one for US, and one for Australia. The option list each distributor ticks in Europe would not be the same as what Japan, US and Australia gets.Originally posted by troopa View PostPretty sure everywhere else gets space saver spare a boot like this..

Id rather have the neater flat floor that other countries cars get since i piss off spare wheels anyway (rather have the extra space/less shit in the car, never had a puncture in over 20 years of driving)
upper control arm is clearly solid cast iron/steel and looks ridiculous since it carries sfa load compared to the LCA which is pressed steel. For a car all about lightness why wouldnt it be pressed steel or alloy? I know in the overall scheme of things its not a big deal but it doesnt make sense to me?
Any suspension/engineering gurus like to chime in?
