                  Your point being that regardless of engine you can force feed a std engine because you don't have to worry about detonation, just the physical strength? And we can automatically get 150% out of any current production engine because you can out of the three listed?

                    Yeah, sorry I meant the 17s. No offence to those who do like them. I just think the 17s are too 1990s Hot4's Magazine in style and really don't suit. I agree the 16s are a good match, although they look a little small they remind me of Watanabe's a bit which is a good thing.

                    edit: Just drove with a white 86 GT in traffic when I went to pick up my mate from the pub, the 16s definitely look decent, especially on white

                      Pretty much, allowing for your artistic licence with my words and without writing a farking essay to satisfy your predilection for analness. Glad you were impressed. When the stock internal versions with bolt on kits make 200kw (flywheel to be specific just for you, and yes I realise that's only 1.4 x stock) without melting to slag, a whole new world of amazement will be open to you

                        go back 6-7 pages and have a good look at the images of the piston for this engine. It would have a top land of 2mm in a cast piston in a high compression engine already designed to run on PULP injected by an injector with an unknown flow rate and unknown ability to flow more. HKS and SARD do not yet have higher flowing injectors for sale. I think some tuners will get 200kw out of one...big deal, fairy dust kW. A few runs on the dyno do not impress, when the same unopened engine can do 50 hard laps of Wakefield in a weekend for 3/4 weekends I will be impressed.

                                Justen, even you admitted before a vvti 1uz wouldnt take the power. 4age blacktop would be another one off the top of my head.

                                So yes most motors miiight take some boost. But not all. And obviously some can take more than others.

                                Stock hemi 6s lift heads at 6psi. And they would be lucky to have 8.5:1 comp.
