No Justen, I'm not talking about a track engine, I'm talking about an engine that is properly engineered.

So yes most motors miiight take some boost. But not all. And obviously some can take more than others.

Stock hemi 6s lift heads at 6psi. And they would be lucky to have 8.5:1 comp.
eh? no i didn't. Plenty of boosted VVTi engines happily making 1.5 times stock power (they won't make the 2.5 time stock power mine is making is what i said...actually i said they would, but not for long ).

I'd happily add boost to pretty well any modern performance motor. Check out the numbers the n/a Coyote engine makes when boosted!!

These Boxers will make 200kw flywheel easy and do it day in day out for streeter. Can't wait for Hero to tell Dale his killawasps are fairy dust

will be happy for Dale to prove me wrong, provided the car can sustain power going around wakefield or any other circuit. Most FWKW figures people fap off about are just that, fairy dust suitable for FF&R etc.
I would be more impressed if Dale can boost the low-mid range torque 50% instead of 200kw.

Main difference between the N/A and boosted FA motors is the compression ratio, 12.5 N/A and 10.6 with a turbo.

          Thick head gasket ftw?

Dunno if you'll get that 1st proviso? There are clearly limits something like this will take and sustained thermal loads of track work may be asking too much. Some will try so though we'll find out at what power levels they will survive.

The rest, for sure and i'd say a given as low/mid range torque boost is what turboing a n/a engine is all about.

Be interesting to see if the two FA motors have different pistons too. You'd think they must given the difference in compression.

                      Dude....

                      Flat four. Not inline 4.
                      And metal timing covers
Bigger head gaskets also changes cam timing :p

Fuck that. Straight out new car loan from my CU.
I dont want other cunts except my bank with hands in my pockets. Costs less in long run from not paying interest on advance payments, or on paying interest on the residual.

You are not making a single fucking argument that makes sense.

Not one factory engine could do that (in a sub 40k car)
Unless they have no grip, they would all fucking die from no oil, overheating, etc.

Add turbo, it makes it fun for the few moments you put your foot down.

Want to go fast for extended periods, then spend the 10-50k on an engine like everyone else does and build it fit for purpose.
As for injectors, fuck me we're talking 10-30% more power, add fuel pressure. job done.

Probably best not to care who gets them too much, aslong as I'm enjoying it.
