found the pricing.. no probs ill put a chinese shit turbo on it and will be able to supply for close to that price..
but i wont use chinese shit turbos on something like this,, the garrett ball bearing turbo is around $1500 more than the cost of a shitty chinese turbo that puts it up to $5200 odd.. then add haltech, tuning, injectors and installation and your up to close to $9000.. which is around the price point im trying to get it too..im a cunt
and apparently i dont know shit...

10k drive in/out turbo conversion on a brand new car seems more than fine to me. I don't think you need to justify pricing. I haven't found the AVO pricing, but as you said, if it's using shittier, less reliable parts, then for the sake of modding a brand new car, I'd definitely be going with the more expensive option.
