Yep and getting up to an F6 would be *many* seconds quicker, i'd say maybe 5 seconds around Wakefield... but I don't care as hopefully the lack of outright HP won't be an issue for me

All I can say is that I would love to drive a modern rear driver like the BRZ around any circuit like Lakeside. 'Handling' is such an inadequate word so it is hard to describe the feeling you get from a car that works with you and gives you the confidence to go, fast. Unfortunately incar videos do not convey that feeling so it's an individual experience thing.

Going fast in a straight line, there is no comparison.

I really want to avoid sounding like a fanboi but clearly the tyres on the 86 are a sticking point (or unsticking as it were)
it has been tested many times that putting on comparable* tyres to competitors improves time significantly...
really it's handling is the only thing it has going for it and that is hobbled by it's below average tyres...
