Third Pass

13.11 @ 107.19 MPH 60' 2.045 (best for the night)

Only three passes due to Sydney Traffic fucking me over.

Thoughts:

Tyres are fucking hopeless!
Diff way too short for a turbo, got to for a EURO spec 3.75:1 diff. The problem is just as you're hitting the 1/4 mile you need to grab 5th gear or you bounce it off the limitter.

I think with better tyres and better 60' (ie around 1.9) a 12.9 will be doable), or I just rock up with the 216KW tune instead or the 190KW tune like I did tonight.

Reactions at the track:

I couldn't believe the number of people asking me how this thing was so fast. Some of the smarter ones were asking if this was CHE tuned car You are famous Dale!

But there were quite a few surprised people there tonight.

On the way home

I was taking the piss with a poor Mark 6 GTi driver. Lights go green and I simply smash him off the the line, to be fair he probably wasn't expecting a Prius Coupe to beat him.

So at the next set lights he's ready, revs build, inching forward as the lights go amber .... Again easily ahead of it until I have enough wave my hand gesturing for him to keep up.

THIS CAR IS FUCKING FUN.... Why because no one expects to get dusted off by an GT86!

I doubt it would go faster with better tyres. Turning the tyres is good for it. It's not like it would be blazing the tyres on gear changes.


EZ36 and GT4094R transplant on the other hand would probably get gains from ditching Prius tyres.

I have 265 MT's but I can't see them fitting and fuck buying a set for a pissing match.
