What's the deal with that rocket bunny kit everyone is using?

It strikes me that it isn't as aero dynamic as it is a flashy piece of body work to put on?

Is it aero dynamic? Especially with that lip curving up at the front - that's just pure aero lift isn't it?

Starting to get the impression that saying you own one of these in a few years will be a touch embarrassing - haven't seen anything get so comprehensively riced up so quickly since the old Lancer Coupe and CRX Hot 4s days. It's going to be one of those cases where the car is good but the owners...

Depends on whether you own it before the avalanche of riceyness comes ... I'd be a lot less embarrassed to say I bought a WRX in 1995 than to say I'd bought one in 1997.

I agree, it'll make them less interesting. But being scared to buy the best car for your wants/needs for fear of being associated wih the stereotypical owner is as silly as buying a gerlytruk for the purpose of associating yourself with the stereotypical owner.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

Had reason to regret buying a red one of these earlier today.

An absolute fucktard of a cop was driving a paddywagon down the right hand lane of the Bruce highway 110km/hr zone at 90km/hr, and I undertook at 112km/hr. Pulled me up, lights flashing, and proceeded to give me a couple of minutes of "What game do you think you're playing" and "I don't like your attitude" (before I even said anything) before not even giving me a warning. Also said at one stage "just because you drive a flash car, doesn't mean you can drive quickly" ($35k Toyota WTF?).

Are they permitted to pull you up when there's only one in the car? And are they supposed to state their name and at least wear ID?

            Go QLD police!

When set at their max camber position they give approx -1° of camber. I don't really consider them adjustable, because you have to remove the strut to spin them. And they do bind and make shit noises. Whiteline are currently working on a new model, so I wouldn't buy these until new model is released. You would be better off buying STi ones. They aren't "adjustable" like the Whiteline ones, but give the same amount of camber and use the same, stronger rubber.

These do make a difference, they are just noisy. I know because we installed them on the TRD coilovers in my brothers car.

Worth noting, the TRD coilovers are similar price to the KW V3 ones linked. They are also very good.

They were doing 90 in a 110 zone. 112 in that zone is not speed, and I assumed because he drove past a guy towing a trailer with no lights on and talking on a mobile he wasn't on duty.

No ticket not even a warning, just a random rant and then walked off. Was bizarre...

are these the group n tops that folk speak of? I didn't know there were any other fixed camber adjustment in other other models, cheers... sounds like my best option unless i want to spring for coil overs. I stupidly jumped at a GTS after my GT was taking too long = budget gone.
                        Nafe is your brother?

so from my research these don't actually add any camber like spunkrat said above?
