GroupN will fit but dont add any camber, just harder rubber is used.

I had the whitelines on my STI for a few years and they never made any noise or grinding the whole time i had them...

I dunno about 86's but they are not liked on Datsun's. They tend to move about a bit under load.

Yep, my bad. No camber added, but use the same stiffer compound rubber. The ones I was talking about a group c.

Saw in shibuya yesterday. Looked awesome on those wheels whatever they are.

No experience with the Taiwanese stuff. Dropped a set of the SuperSports with pillow top mounts into my STi (admittedly with flogged out 120k old suspension) and it really transformed the ride, handling was good as you'd expect. It's still stiff but so much more compliant ride compared with the stock stuff. Only issue is the pillow tops are noise and transfer a fair chunk of noise into the car but you get that with rose joints. This is with a set imported from the US as effectively Jap spec I'd imagine. For $1600 I was happy.

Yeah, I'm just not sold on the low end Tein's. I think the more street focussed ones are more sensible and in this area I probably am being a bit harsh on them as the taiwanese stuff has similar sophistication in the valving but with higher springrates so they are quite agricultural on the street. In this regard the Teins should work at least as well as the standard stuff. However I just can't get past the fact you can get the koni's for cheaper and these are better. Maybe more importantly for the same money as the Teins you can now get the entry level MCA coilovers and while I haven't tried them I have to believe that Murray Coote can conjure up some magic that will leave the Teins for dead.

Fuck the wing off, but anyone have a clue what those wheels are? They maketh the car IMO

Kind of like a more spaced out version of the OZ ultraleggera

Clutch ordered today. Went with xtreme clutch and flywheel kit, should hold the mad killawasps as the stock clutch was slipping in higher gears:
