Clutching at straws here, but could the pad compound difference also be causing the spongy pedal feel?

It will be MC, had the same issue on my track bunky when I went from 2pots to 4, longer pedal, felt almost like air in it but not the case, stops fucking hard though

Yeah no matter how many times you bleed the brakes or change compounds, you wont eliminate the dead spot without upgrading the MC. I had a similar issue with a wilwood brake upgrade on my Supra. Didnt hinder braking performance at all, just a bit annoying. All comes down to personal preference too. Someone suggested disabling the brake booster at the track for more pedal feel but that again wont change the travel.

Check for sale.
you are a monumental fuckwit of an 86/brz owner if you dont buy those wheels and tyres. Have them painted any colour your like and still be 2k ahead on buying new. One of about 3 sets of wheels that actually suit the 86 shape without looking faggot jdm boy racer.Originally posted by BosshoggettIf your planing to drive this on the road and enjoy it, id suggest a second opinion, someone with a history in Australian Rally or Fink River . If your just playing dyno comps. Then ok
