any blokes in here got cliffs on the toyota access stuff? was talking to a mate about cars and he was going on about the toyota access program... is it any good?
Or if you can afford a loan without a baloon does it make more sense to go for a normal loan? I am saving for a house deposit but the way he was going on about it, it almost sounded like you could easily afford to pay it and just upgrade to a new gt86 at the end of the term. If there is no new GT86 in sight or other car i want, can i do another access type loan? or can i enter a good loan to continue paying off the car?
Thoughts? I want to get one of these instead of getting a e36 328i haha

your question is whether you want a $5k bmw or a 40k toyota thats 55k by the time you own it?
What. The. Fuck.Originally posted by BosshoggettIf your planing to drive this on the road and enjoy it, id suggest a second opinion, someone with a history in Australian Rally or Fink River . If your just playing dyno comps. Then ok

With the engine options available to toyota why did they have to pick that horrid sounding thing in in n/a form. With engines like the 2.7 twin cam quad valve at their disposal they could have turned the car in to a true little weapon.
The tuners would be way more willing to go ballsnall on such an engine as well. It would then be interesting to see just how good the chassis really is. A shopping trolley can get around corners ok at the speed the current thing is capable of.

They're not quick, but neither is anything else for the same money.

After owning an older Alfetta sedan for many years I can assure you that people will be more impressed that you drive even an older "BMW" than a new Toyota too.

Because the car was made for the Japanese market, they just sell it here.Originally posted by Fineline View PostWith the engine options available to toyota why did they have to pick that horrid sounding thing in in n/a form. Both Wheels & Motor have not tested the B250 to full extent as the other write ups....Wheels did a small blurb and a comparison with the B200 against and Audi Q3 a few issues ago.Originally posted by 200 View Postwhat times does the B250 does at wakefield - must have missed that post

the 2TR motor is a commercial engine, and would not be suited to the 86 at all.
the GR V6's would have been fucking sick in the 86, but the size of the car and shape of the front end, would have upset the chassis dynamics, and ultimately, what Toyota set out to do with this car.Originally posted by Rdyno70ynu has to be the most retarded cunt here.
