Then when i loaded them 3 where auto's WTF!!!

Within a few years manuals will be an optional extra, best get used to it. I think the demographic for these cars is as much the pretty hairdresser set that got lost when the Celica disappeared as much as the switched on driver wanting a manual and who wants to drive the tits off it. It suits both very well.

I drove an auto (only thing available) and honestly still goes pretty good. They did a decent job programming the auto. I wouldn't buy one but it didn't seem to detract from the car much.

On the edge balancing the car with the right foot surely it'd suck? It's why being rwd is so important to many, so to fuck it up with a torque converter seems stupid.

But 90% of people dont drive them on the edge like that, and the auto allows for easy tail out skids out of roundabouts, which is what 99% of people do. For the other bazillion times you are driving and not having bulk fun, the auto is infinitely better and a much nicer drive. Its the same with the auto STI. Almost every cunt who peddles one is just as fast or faster with the auto.

Remember 50% of drivers are below average.
