There seems to be some OK prices around. 31.8k driveaway for a GT, or 38.7k for a GTS. Don't know if the extra 7k is worth it for the GTS, especially when I hate that damn wing.

As my step brother told me and I found out when I sat in both, the interior is the worst thing about the GT, if you can put up with that its probably a better buy if you plan on a few mods since its lighter, you will probably replace the wheels, and I/maybe you don't give a fuck for climate control.

Yeah definitely don't care about climate control or heated seats. Wish you could get the nicer dash cluster and HID's in the GT though. I don't mind the 16's on the GT, though like you said, they'll end up changed eventually.

if you prefer the TRD style spoiler (way less gay) you could stick that over the drill holes from the previous one.....

It is pretty ghetto but after 7-8mths I honestly can't say it bothers me at all. As strange as it might sound, its probably one of the most comfortable cars I've had as far as seating position and support. Long drives, including interstate are a piece of piss.

Google found this list of differences between GT & GTS. Given there as a good $5k price difference, I struggled to see the value.

HID - These are probably the only thing I'd like to have. The headlights on the GT aren't exceptional, but I had Xenons previously.

finished up.. 101rwkw stock as a rock, 109rwkw exhaust, 119rwkw tuned.. 18% gain.. torque dip is heaps better, needs a intake badly..
