Nice work, that should be fairly noticeable in the drivers seat.

I might get a mate to do that on mine for shits and giggles (stock exhaust/intake etc).

Pretty good gains for just an exhaust and tune. Bates in Canberra have an NA one making decent numbers not sure exactly how much but I think they were claiming around 180kw at the Flywheel.
        If in doubt power out

          How do you figure flywheel?
So many dynos in Aus for these things are around the 100-105rwkw mark. Considering they are supposed to make 149kw at the flywheel off the floor, you can see a massive discrepancy. So it would be interesting to see how Bates & co derived that figure if it's not in fact bolted straight up to an engine dyno...

Given that headers alone on my car have massively reduced the "hole" even with no tune and a stock exhaust to the point where you often dont notice it, i shoudl think headers and an E85 tune would be about as good a bang-for-buck performance increase as you'd get

17% power increase is not bad for just headers and a tune. Have not seen a graph showing how bad the "torque dip" is before, looks quite nasty.

The dip is still there with extractors.. Tuning almost removes it

pretty good results for a tune and exhaust - motoiq's results were nowhere near as good
They believed it was due to the shitty fuel they get in california though

Unless yours magically writes faster than mine, that's around 2 hours just sitting there waiting for it to flash.

correct.. yes I had nothing else to do yesterday and old mate was pretty happy with the gains and now I have a nice base to work from..

Whats the issue with the factory exhaust Dale? I thought manufacturers were pretty decent these days at maxxing out intake and exhaust gains (eg S2000).

Forgot to ask but hows it sound now? Every non stock one I've heard has sounded like aids. I just want the extra power, not interested in making it louder.

Oh, and Dave, I forgot to mention that I made it back to aus last week to try out the new suspension. Everything they say about Murray is true, it's absolutely brilliant.
