How do you figure flywheel?
So many dynos in Aus for these things are around the 100-105rwkw mark. Considering they are supposed to make 149kw at the flywheel off the floor, you can see a massive discrepancy. So it would be interesting to see how Bates & co derived that figure if it's not in fact bolted straight up to an engine dyno...
there is a bazillion fb pages? Which one? Is it that closed/invite/request only one???Originally posted by blue_s15 View PostJust read his shit now (on the FB page for anyone wondering), what an idiot. But quite accurate for the typical 86 owner unfortunately.

Given that headers alone on my car have massively reduced the "hole" even with no tune and a stock exhaust to the point where you often dont notice it, i shoudl think headers and an E85 tune would be about as good a bang-for-buck performance increase as you'd get

Whats the issue with the factory exhaust Dale? I thought manufacturers were pretty decent these days at maxxing out intake and exhaust gains (eg S2000)."If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough horsepower." - Mark Donahue Penske Porsche 917

Oh, and Dave, I forgot to mention that I made it back to aus last week to try out the new suspension. Everything they say about Murray is true, it's absolutely brilliant.Originally posted by blue_s15 View PostForgot to ask but hows it sound now? Every non stock one I've heard has sounded like aids. I just want the extra power, not interested in making it louder.
