        I think mine sound good. Especially with exhaust cracking and popping on overrun and upshifts. I should put up a vid for PF.

          My mate finished his AVO kit install, it started first go on the standard ROM and we didn't have any major issues after heatcycling it (just driving it round in vac).
          Now taken to tuner (Unigroup) who flashed his file and car doesn't start, struggles from off-on-off-on when cold - the tuner ended up jumping the starter motor and subsequently installed another button for it (WTF?)
          For hot idle/start, if it starts have to hold open the throttle immediately otherwise it will die.
          The only other thing is the ABS + TC lights come on, which leads me to MAF? Car is an automatic if it matters.

          I asked him to try standard factory map and see if there any change in behavior.

                  so looks like a tune that is supplied by avo? So all unigroup did was flash the ecu and the issues started from there.

                    I just got some stock BRZ headers and apart from the cat removal there would be fuckall difference between any aftermarket ones and the std ones. Might make some new secondaries and see if there is any gains.

                            He did tune it, I didn't ask my mate for specifics/numbers but the gist of it is, once it's running, it's fine and was tune-able. It seems to be something to do with engaging the starter motor and/or crank enrichment.
                            They are using BRZEdit which seem to be tightlipped denying any known issues to overcome with Autos (if that is the problem).
                            I don't have any logging sw or hw for subbies, but I guess with factory WB O2 it should be piss to do.

                                He did tune it, I didn't ask my mate for specifics/numbers but the gist of it is, once it's running, it's fine and was tune-able. It seems to be something to do with engaging the starter motor and/or crank enrichment.
