For most people koni+kings would be sufficient and ride vastly better than a $1k 'coilover'.

Anyone with expereince with the Cusco coilovers on the 86? Not other cars, specifically the 86/BRZ.

There's about 10mm travel before you hit the progressive bump stop (it is 60mm).
Any significant lowering, even if just for looks requires coilovers if you want bump travel.

why wouldn't you just shorten them with a wood saw like a normal person? then shorten the struts to fit short stroke shocks in if you need to, this ain't rocket surgery.

The blues are still made to an mca speced piston and design and they aren't a rough estimate. Shock length is done from actual measurements and testing. Bump travel (possibly not droop) is just the same as the reds. Sure the reds are better but the blues are by no means a generic estimate system.

So I heard from a mate of a mate that May '14 builds are getting a spec change.

GT & GTS now get fuli sik shark fin antenna from factory.
GT & GTS also have had the current white & silver paint codes deleted, and replaced with new white & silver colours.
GTS gets a new cluster
GT gets the old GTS cluster
GTS gets factory reverse camera
