After a week in mine, I'll happily say this is a platform that can handle substantially more power than it leaves the factory with. I'm loving it as it is, but 200kw/300nm would be just lovely.
you know what you need to do when the kit is released then
The R&D has been done on my Mainline roller. Need to put it on one of those Sydney hub dynos and post a graph with hp rather than kw for the promotional material. Because numbers.
All you really need to know is that the Coyoda system makes more power down low than a twin screw supercharger and walks away from other turbo kits up top, while running cooler on less boost.
If you have the engine internals, 400 flywheel kw is probably achievable. Good luck with the driveline.
Is the 2863R the turbo that comes in the 'street' package?
I've lost count of how many turbos have been on it. We first tried with off the shelf turbos, but have finished up getting them made to our spec. The BR86-Street turbo is very similar to a GTX2863R though. It will make all the power a stock engine can reliably handle.
To be honest 200rwkw is over a 50% increase and more than enough for a daily driven street car. I'd imagine for a lot of us considering this it's a choice between a turbo or a trade in for a Focus RS or Golf R, and the 86 should be faster and more sideways.
Much limitation sticking with 98 octane? There's e-flex but no E85 out my way.
Maybe they could change it to FWD, add torque vectoring to make it look like you can drive, put in a pretty interior and add a few race stripes to give it proper cafe cred.
