So it has a different name for each market:

    Japan - 86
    Europe - GT 86
    Nth America - FR-S

I wonder what Toyota AU will do? Make it FWD, only offer it in auto and call it a Celica?

You can guarantee they are trying to work out how to use Sportivo somewhere...

Are you working for a Toyota dealer?

Havent seen any 86s on the wharf or in our yard.
Possible that someone else has taken pre release cars to Toyota head office at Carringbah but unlikely as when we get
new cars we get a bulletin about anything unusual about loading them. As in low front spoilers etc..... and people always mention something new.

Getting the Porsche contract in a few weeks so more interested in that at the moment than the 86 though
              I climbed Mt Druitt

But the 86 has a lower centre of gravity than a Porsche so it must be better...

Said by somebody who would do anything to get into either a Porsche or 86
I survived the patio flooding catastrophe of 2012.

I guess I'm pretty sceptical about this car. But having seen Chris Harris's review, I'm slowly changing my mind. However, if this car is all about "the balance", then everyone changing the rims and suspension is going to totally change the character. Then it will just be a slow car that handles well as opposed to a driftable chuckable fun car.

Yes, so buy it for what it is. It really is in the MX5 genre of car, goes around corners well, puts a smile on your face and fuck the rest the world because I am having fun, you don't have to have huge speeds and shit loads of HP to have fun in a car. Sounds good to me.

Its just not fast enough for me. I'd miss that torque surge. I think an MX5 makes more sense as on a nice day, you can put the roof down.

Thanks but replace "boyfriend" with "wife" and you might be onto something.
