I read somewhere that that dip in the dyno could be the result of tuning for Euro5 emissions reasons? (NFI if thats true or not, but if so it would be pretty easy to fix aftermarket)

Not a bad video but who buys a v6 mustang, really? You'd always be wishing you got the v8.

True, but from what I've seen on US forums, it actually looks like they've done a good job in making it a respectable car in it's own right, rather than just the one for girls and those who can't afford a V8.

By all accounts it's a pretty decent car but judging from one of the US car forums I read that hasn't stopped the Mustang boys from getting all butthurt about a review where the slower car (BRZ) was "better"

I personally think its a bit of an apples/oranges comparison but they compete on price over there so i guess it's inevitable

Just finished a shoot with the BRZ, way better looking in the flesh! Almost makes me want one! Horrible sounding engine though.

I can't think of one reason why I like this car! Can't believe the hype around it.

Watching the development videos, when did Toyota engineers become masters as making a car handle?

They got very good in the mid 80's, though not every car got the good treatment.

Going by the previous subaru NA boxer motors no exhaust is going to make it sound good.

Agree but the last decade and half has been bland after bland car. Now they release an average car and everyone is jumping all over it?

Yes, and they also released a lot of pretty good cars.
                                Supra, Caldina, etc.

True enough it's not a really fast or great car, but it's a small RWD car and those are pretty thin on the ground these days.
