"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

I was looking forward to buying a VE v8 calais or ssv in 2011, but borrowed an ssv for a few days and after getting used to the sheer stonk, I don't think its as good a car as my old BF Fairmont...so am now depressed and dissillusioned with the whole new car thing. Might try an XR6T and see what that's like - maybe the new XR8 (is it ever to be released?)

                The Chevy Volt!

Here is a really interesting post about the Chevy Volt and how OnStar will keep drivers even more connected to their car: http://bit.ly/eyEqpC

Yes indeed, and the concept was released in 2003!

                    I'm eagerly anticipating these:

                    1. Alfa RWD coupe as above;
                    2. 991 series Porsche 911
                    3. FT86. Yeah, I'm looking forward to a....Toyota.

                    You?
not a bad list, fyi the Subaru version of the FT86 has now been confirmed to be RWD

I will be interested in your thoughts on the FJ Tim. I saw them in the States a couple of years ago. I liked the concept but not the execution.
I do not like V slicers.

                            New civic.

Because as much as it may hurt (honda fanboi here), I know deep down it will be confirmation that Honda has lost the plot.

I'd bar up if Nissan did a "Clubsport" 370 with nothing in it apart from seats & a steering wheel.

The thing is with the FJ Cruiser they have gone for that Retro approach
to the looks (which i like) but the 4wd hardware isnt any better than a Prado.
It still has IFS not a live front axle that would better suit its appearance that it is a
                                serious offroader.
Plus you cannot even get a Turbo Diesel in it. Petrol only.
Im not haten on it i just think Toyota may have overlooked an opportunity to make a
modern hardcore 4WD. I guess i was expecting it to be a direct competitor to a Jeep Wrangler 4 door.
