              Twelve years later, Todd still pops into my head from time to time. I remember cutting out most of the pictures of his cars from Street Commodores at the time, to stick on the wall in my bedroom. RIP.

                Probably one of the most infamous accidents in Australian motor racing. Probably also the only one not on the internet.

                  There is quite a bit of vision shot by those of us that were covering the event on the day for the producer - we all made a promise on the day not to release it to the public.

                  It was played at the Coroners inquest as well as to a few of the family/friends that wanted / needed to see it.

                    yeah thats fair. in truth i only 'tubed it to see it it was who i thought it was. feintly remember seeing it on telle when i was about 11.

                      I remember watching vision of the accident on the news that afternoon, horrible . I was shocked when I realized it was Todd Wilkes. That footage is still in my head even after all these years . RIP
