the speedy diffs cortina is putting down around 600hp

not sure if Speedy has gone 8.0, i think best is 8.7 or 8.8, Cortina's seem to be the best car for mod street blown Joe has gone 7.37 and Pazzo went 7.39 with bigger turbo's.
Cortina's are wide, big wheelbase, great suspension setup. we do ok with a Capri in MSB 8.3@164 3060lbs showing 1050 flywheel, dynoed with 800rwhp. though it's more street car than drag car as it's gets driven every weekend and to the track on raceday's. Stu Henry is hammering out 7.6@180+, i'd be interested to see how much better he can go, i just think the Capri's might be close to their limit, not sure how much the Torana's have left in them but the Staunch boys will let us know would be good to see a turbo Torana factory style suspension what it can do

I have "heard" that it doesnt really have the best engine combo, it is all quality gear just a bit mixed up. He was running low 8s years ago on gas now with a big motor and monster procharger it isnt really running that much quicker.....
