I came home with a '65 Valiant one day, impulse purchase, one owner deceased estate, cheap as chips - $200 with 6 months rego, air con, etc.

Nopics was ropable. It wasn't about the money at all, it was about me going out and buying another car unannounced (we had 4 at the time). It was up for sale again within a week, I couldn't deal with the bullshit. Fortunately I made a tidy profit, but I would have prefered to have kept the car. Was nice to have sex again though.

What's the difference between buying an XR6T and a bloody Ranger ute? If you're current work ute isn't actually being used fully then what's wrong with a nice ute? You can still carry stuff in the back if required, hell one of my customers is a datacomms installer and uses an FG SuperPursuit ute!
