Preventing rust on cars housed near the beach?

So nopics and I will be moving about 2 kays away from the sea in a few months and I will be taking one 70's pommy car and a couple of 70's Japanese cars with me. Apart from POR15-ing everything and washing them to keep off the sea salt, is there any way of stopping them from crumbling into rusty piles within a few years?
I've noticed that some of the steel trusses inside the garage are a bit rusty already so I'll be sanding them back and repainting them (though the rust has come up through paint already which isn't a good sign...)

Washing them regularly is the best solution.

you'd think that, but i live about that distance from beaches and often times ive come out to my car on the drive way that has salt water mist on it.

washing and regular POR-15 is the best bet, its all you can do.

Did this to my shitbox (Suzuki Swift) and it never had any signs of rust after 10 years of living 2 blocks away from the beach. Was parked outside most of that time and was always covered in salt spray.

The sacrificial anode method. Works well.
Rust is lighter than carbon fibre.

Brilliant idea. Plus it's a fiat so I wouldn't give two hoots about it.

                    I like your thinking.

Sorry to break your heart but that has nothing to do with the electronic protection.

I was actually thinking of one of these (or 3), then did a bit of binging and googling and found that they are like sex nasal spray. Pity, because that'd be a lot easier than spraying stinking fish oil everywhere - though that lanoline stuff would be a lot less stinky?
