Got a factory base alarm and keyless entry kit for my daily Lancer.
Hooked it all up today and appeared to be working fine for a bit.
There seems to be a problem unlocking the thing remotely.
It has a dual stage unlock, so press the remote once, it unlocks the drivers door and then press it again and unlocks the passenger side.
When I press it once, I can hear the actuator although it doesnt unlock the drivers door (there is slight movement in the inside lock knob though)
When I press it again, it seems to sometimes unlock the drivers side and also the passenger one as well. Other times, it unlocks then locks on the second press.
I have no problems using the key to unlock on the drivers side or passenger side, and locking with the remote has no issues as well.
So I am guessing that either, something is catching making it difficult to unlock the drivers door, actuator needs lubing? or the actuator is stuff and not providing enough to unlock.
