ok well all other variables would cause issues in other areas , i dont just swing spanners.Mobile Suzuki Specialist : www.facebook.com/suzukimechanic . Please like/share my page.

What were the AFR's when on the last run.. post the sheet?
Has the fuel been tested? Shitty batch of fuel can melt pistons.
IMO if a tuner isn't smart enough to back it off to keep the cars he has worked on running numbers or on the street then he wont be tuning long.
If you trust him to tune your own car, Surely you trust his judgment in tuning reliable power out of cars.
At the end of the day, Shit happens when you want bigger/better/faster/more.
Having to cop another rebuild is unfortunate, nor is it something i'd be happy about if it was my motor that popped but that is the game we play.Originally posted by MudkickerHow many blowjobs to pay off that debt?

theres something i believe is called 'duty of care' which would mean even if it did leave your premises, then blew, if i had proved you hadnt filled it with oil, your shit outta luck brudda.Originally posted by dave View Postso what you are saying is this .....
i can build you a $20000 engine and not put oil in it , and as long as you make it out of the premises its out of my hands ? sweet , want me to build you an engine ?
but it did its run in period, was flogged at a race track, retuned for a higher output etc.. the warranty has DEFINATELY run its course.Originally posted by Rdyno70ynu has to be the most retarded cunt here. first of all , its a microtechOriginally posted by JZK25 View PostWhat ecu?
That's shit power for a built turbo 1300.
If it's leaning on two cylinders is it a fuel distribution problem or just a dead pump problem etc....
Is this a moral question or a tech question?
Morally, you give a fuck so you have done the right thing. Technically, you've told us nothing so none can help and you probably know more than most cunts here anyway so why ask.
When did you change your name back from BoganDave?
secondly , ive already mentioned in my first post why it should be making more power , can you show me the others that are making more power than that ? ahh yes they were either built by me or dave homer .Mobile Suzuki Specialist : www.facebook.com/suzukimechanic . Please like/share my page.

so pistons just melt at random is due course ?Originally posted by MRMOPARMAN View Posttheres something i believe is called 'duty of care' which would mean even if it did leave your premises, then blew, if i had proved you hadnt filled it with oil, your shit outta luck brudda.

with your line of reasoning . if i install a fuel filter and forget to put the hose clamp on , and it blows off and your car catches on fire and burns to the ground , that is due course and im not to be held responsible , hey it was running fine and you thrashed it before you bought it to me ....Mobile Suzuki Specialist : www.facebook.com/suzukimechanic . Take note of this man ^^^^, he knows about engines. Probably from experience, most likely bad.Originally posted by morerevsm3 View Post... squish shape in combustion chamber etc that 1 or 2 more psi can put it over detonation thresh hold
But back to the tuner, any knock detection equipment used? Even like the special Japanese one above the laptop in the pic.

i had one once that would fire 2 injectors properly and 2 wouldnt fire properly... most only have 2 drivers in them tooOriginally posted by dave View Postfirst of all , its a microtech
.
hence why normally with a microtech you have 2 cylinders that die..
PS if it shits on my dyno its tough luck.. ill help you out fixing it but thats where it ends...im a cunt
and apparently i dont know shit...

Its a hard one.
You would have to think that a shit tune would have killed a car much quicker than 12 months, including comp use.
So maybe a bad batch of fuel, pump failure, fuck, 1 million things could have gone wrong.
If he had just had it built, picked it up and drove it down the road to the sounds of marbles on boost you would know something tune wise is up.Originally posted by brasherTJ is 99% African American.

shitty fuel can melt pistons i agree , because then they detonate because of the lower octane , but it was tuned to this fuel !!! it was a power run after the tune !!!Originally posted by RMX View PostWhat were the AFR's when on the last run.. post the sheet?

look im not pointing fingers or blaming him or whatever , but what if it happens again even after taking every variable or scenario out of the question , say everything was perfect , that was the original question if you can all bother to go back and read the original post !Mobile Suzuki Specialist : www.facebook.com/suzukimechanic . Asian's don't use knock detection equipment.Originally posted by elfturbomax View PostBut back to the tuner, any knock detection equipment used? Even like the special Japanese one above the laptop in the pic.
Fondles wouldn't be there if they did, he has been running on 91oct for yearsLightning is at my discretion - don't fuck with me

im not saying this is the case , but what if you missed something or did a shit tune , you still just wipe your hands of it ?Originally posted by 10sec_rx7 View Posti had one once that would fire 2 injectors properly and 2 wouldnt fire properly... most only have 2 drivers in them too

surely a car that run on an ignition system that was barely capable of igniting the charge under high boost would have a different ignition curve to a system that was quite capable of igniting it on a shitty 4 cylinder engine.
what it comes down to is combustion temps in my eyes , how do combustion temps rise enough to melt a piston ? (ps i know the answer)Mobile Suzuki Specialist : www.facebook.com/suzukimechanic . Please like/share my page.
