When moving oversea's had a lot to do in a small time so sending a free carby was not the highest on my list of priorities hence I left it for my mate to ship for me. I am assuming he never sent it.

Also next time douchbag pm me ask upfront wtf going on instead of spinning your bullshit pensioner sob stories in my thread!

If I would have know it wasn't sent I would have dealt with it months ago. You really think I am gonna try and scam someone out of $15-$20 postage money? I think I am going to make the prince of Nigeria jealous with this scam. Man up and pm me next time instead of you snide little comments.

Guilty until proven innocent hey? You're basically saying he ripped someone off when a) you don't even know if it's him, and b) don't know the circumstances as to why he didn't send the item if it is him. Something tells me you should shoot him a PM rather than drag it out in the forum.

Well I guess I am technically guilty and it was me, I just had no idea it wasn't sent. I am assuming he tryed to call my phone but as I left the country and had no need for it anymore it would have come up disconnected. But your right rezz, if he pmed me it would have been delt with a long time ago


Edit: It is confirmed it was never sent, mate just sent me "oh crap........................ i'll do it in the morn. umm sorry. he still keen?" I told my mate to relax on the sending as ill prob just give him his money back as i assume he has bought another one by now. Anyway I sent the original guy a msg on auszookers. I know my mates daughter had a lot of serious issues just after I left Aus, with all that going on it probably just slipped his mind.

I haven't driven a triptronic but I have driven a 179 red motor in a HQ fitted to a trimatic.

Wasn't overly impressed really.

After driving heaps and seeing a few being flogged on the track I'd say they are the most intuitive AUTO i'd ever driven, a quick WOT blip of the throttle gives nice 'rev matched' down change when you want it. Unlike the manuals though the engine has to come out if you want to take the box out.

I drove a 996 tiptronic for a couple of day a little while ago, running around for a car dealer mate. Kept asking myself why the fuck they bothered. One of the more frustrating experiences I have had... The gear lever works in reverse - forward is gear up and back is gear down; there's stupid gear change buttons on the wheel that are difficult to use; it performs like an automatic.

A complete waste of time in a sports car, the Porsche Engineers must have been smoking crack when they designed the setup...

I heard the clutch was over in the passenger side footwell too, it's a real team effort to shift when it's in manual mode

The one in the Terri seems to wait a very brief moment before shifting..........sort of have to shift that little bit earlier otherwise you can run into the limiter

Just went up the road the shops and back for fang in the cool air.

Shift are very quick infact I don't I could out shift the ZF in regular H pattern manual.
