Chinese turbo's, worth it?

Anything with a wastegate should be avoided as a rule of thumb. I'm looking heavily at a Kinugawa special at the moment over a garrett turbo, simply because I'm a fucking jew.

I know. The problem I have is a few tuners the tuner I'd like to hand the car too doesn't want to know about them, I know I shouldn't let it dictate what I do - but its a cunt of situation.

There is an 32 in Perth that runs a kinugawa turbo on a 25 that makes 500+, on e85. China housings with CHRA internals..... I think pretty much everything on the car is china including the owner!

But yeah, I was told by my mates that the Kinugawa turbos are pretty reliable..Best way to find out is to buy one for testing and see how it goes. They sell descent sized MHIs with T25 flange.

No it's not actually. The proper ones are made in Brazil are good quality and come with a 12 month warranty. I import them directly from the factory and sold a few to different members here.

Their new performance range use a billet titanium compressor wheel and low inertial bearing system so certainly not Chinese crap.
